Role overview
In this junior position, you will join a well-established IT Department and development team, working on a variety of projects getting exposure to the full technology stack including the latest code technologies. Working alongside other developers you will be supporting the modernisation of legacy apps as well as creating new ones for different areas in the business using .Net core, SQL and React.
Everything we do is cloud based and ensuring our code is built, containerised, and deployed effectively is key. You will gain insight into devops pipelines, Docker containers and automated testing before deploying into Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities
Join a collaborative IT team: Work within a well-established IT Department and development team, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of projects that span the full technology stack.
Exposure to modern technologies: Get practical experience with the latest coding frameworks and tools, including .NET Core for backend development, SQL for database management, and React for building dynamic, user-friendly interfaces.
Modernisation and innovation: Contribute to the transformation of legacy applications into modern, efficient systems while also developing new applications that support different areas of the business.
Cloud-first environment: Learn how to build, containerise, and deploy applications effectively in a fully cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability.
DevOps and automation: Gain insight into continuous integration and deployment pipelines, Docker containerisation, automated testing processes, and deployment strategies within Microsoft Azure.
Professional growth: Develop technical and problem-solving skills while working alongside experienced developers, receiving mentorship and guidance to progress in your career.
