Senior Quality Control Administrator
Job description
As a Senior Quality Control Administrator, your role is to supervise and support a growing team while upholding the highest standards within the Quality Control function. Reporting directly to the Product Administration Manager, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency and efficiency of all quality control processes and product data management.
As a detail-oriented and organised individual, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate and comprehensive product information collection by recording and maintaining essential attributes for our vast range of products. You’ll also take responsibility for motivating your team to meet daily targets, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Attention to detail is essential — your role is to have an eye for identifying issues whilst being proactive in problem-solving and resolving challenges efficiently.
As stock arrives at Pricecheck, you are responsible for quality control — recording all attributes of product data onto our systems, understanding if new photography is required, and ensuring stock is returned to the warehouse for storage in an efficient and timely manner. Your efforts will directly contribute to efficient inventory management, team development and effective customer interactions.

Review products against the system to determine if photography or updated imagery is required.
Produce high-quality, commercial photos of newly arriving stock, ensuring image consistency across all categories through photography and editing.
Ensure compliance with new regulations and capture any additional attributes as required by the Product Administration Manager or company standards.
Manage products that fail or compromise the QC process, ensuring these are dealt with appropriately.
Conduct regular reviews of existing product data to identify discrepancies, errors or missing information, taking corrective action as needed.
Collaborate with other teams such as Buying and Buying Administration to resolve data issues and improve information flow.
Verify the accuracy of product images, specifications and other details to ensure they meet company standards before upload.
Support training and development across the team, ensuring a consistent approach to quality and process.
Assist in the continuous improvement of QC processes and workflows related to product data recording and maintenance.
Book in stock for delivery into the warehouse, liaising with suppliers and the Buying team to assign bookings for incoming POs.
Provide support to various teams by promptly addressing inquiries related to product attributes and specifications.
Carry out ad-hoc tasks as required to support the needs of the team and wider company.
Requirements
